Robert DeCandido PhD Photography

Bob DeCandido has been making images since he was 17...first with an Olympus OM-1 35mm film camera. He has also shot with Nikon (the film F100 and most recently the digital D300), Mamiya 7ii (6x7cm), and Sony a6300. He does a lot of Infra-red B/W work. These days he mostly uses a Canon 5Ds and 16-35F4 lens for landscape photos, and for birds, the 400 F2.8ii and 600 F4ii Canon supertelephoto lenses. You can find additional photos on-line at photo.net.   On this web site you will find his best photos from Central Park and other NYC Parks such as the Bronx River, and his bird migration work in Thailand and Nepal. Over at photo.net there are many bird images from his time in Israel, landscapes from Pennsylvania and other locations.
